"Twilight" for guys. Vampires & werewolves slice it up. On a practical note, it's good to know that a werewolf can be killed by sticking your fist into its chest (which doesn't hurt it much, apparently) but then you wrench its heart out with arteries flailing.

This film is not my cup of tea but i know that fans will not care about the reviews and still see it so I am going to be brutally honest about this movie. I saw the film in IMAX 3D and it was way too dark, the film is shot through a blue filter so it is almost impossible to see what is going on in the first part of the film. There was way too much violence and gore in this film but I guess that is the point of a movie like this one so it is not fair to critique that. The film does look good once you can see what is going on and I think that the vampires looked pretty great as well. For me this film is more like a video game and I know that fans like that about it but i think it is annoying. Kate Beckinsale looks good but she is not believable as a mean and lethal vampire, her eyes give it away and she just does not have a posture to play a tough girl.
