You know what? I haven\'t even seen the movie and I\'m disgusted with Stephenie Meyer. I\'ve watched most of the trailers and the actors are retards who suck at acting. Robert Pattinson is the ugliest guy ever! How could she cast him as the sexy, mysterious vampire?!?! Also, he\'s supposed to be paper white. She isn\'t supposed to be the same color as him. She isn\'t concious for the fight between James and Edward. She\'s supposed to be bleeding on the floor with a cracked skull. She doesn\'t wildly make-out with him in her underwear. AHHHH!!!! I hate Twilight now! I sure do hope they do not make New Moon a movie. And if they do... They better have different actors who actually can act.

I have seen an ungodly number of "chick flicks" due to Netflix...and coming in on this with an open mind...aka never read the book...yet. I though it was brilliant. The story is yes a romance, but unlike some of that type I have seen this one has enough action and suspense to keep you in a good mood. There were a few corny scene and yes a few stupid moments, but does it matter that much?

It wasn't enough to do any damage to the scene. The plot line was good enough with a really nice twist at the end...in my opinion. Sure Edward seems a little bit odd to look at but there is nothing to make this any less than a five. OR by my preference 9 of 10.

Some older folks haven't enjoyed it quite as much but remember...they are too serious about some things. Who cares if the special effects aren't lord of the rings level. Most of the things that bothered other reviews is probably just too much attention to detail. You will not be alive if you don't see this tomorrow. Be forewarned.

    This movie was amazing.
I have been a huge fan of Twilight, and when I finally got to see this it was sooo exciting.
The movie was very much so lighter than the book, in my opinion, and definitely not what I was expecting. However, it was still soooo amazing and wonderful and spectacular.
If you are a Fanpire and haven't seen this movie, I strongly recommend that you do!

Totally Amazing. The movie followed the book relatively well. The movie added a few extra snippets about James and Victoria\'s background, but it was relevant. The guy who played Jasper looked nothing like i expected jasper to look. Also when they made them sparkle in the sunlight they just looked like they had water on them. Other wise the movie was really good!

In My Opinion this movie was amazing. I have read the first two books and now am on the third of the series. They casted all the characters very well, just as i imagined them in the book. Also capturing all the thrill seeking and romantic parts of the book that was crucial. When watching the movie I felt as if I was right there in the movie with them and it seemed like the time flew right by and before i knew it the movie was over!

I give it 5 Stars Because It Was Absolutely Amazing!!!!

Unfortunately, this movie did not live up to the hpye. While the casting was surprisingly appealing and believable (appreciated the diversity), characters like Jasper and Doctor Cullen came off as 'comical' instead of mysterious or alluring. Edward was appealing but too awkward and stunted in his character. Loved the scenery and mood it portrayed, but all in all I'd say the show was 'anemic'.

I think this Movie was a Magical Thriller. At the beginning when i saw Edward my heart skipped beats and i went brain dead.He is a vampire with stunning eyes looks and smarts with a sweet personality.Bella is a part albino with good looks and her dad is a police officer \nWatch this movie but the book is better besides the fact you cant stare at Edward or Jacob

There are many fans that enjoyed the Twilight movie, however, the majority of the enjoyment was shared amongst the teen crowd. Proud 20 fans of the book laughed their way through the "cheese factor" of this movie. And if you don't believe me watch the film again in a crowd and you will see that the laughter doesn't stop especially at the parts that are not meant to be funny! The CG was ludicrous and the direction and DP work were below par. I am sad that Summit will return with the same director, when it could be so much better with someone who understands directing and camera shots. Stephenie Meyer brought too much Gorgonzola to this film by insisting that the screenwriter deliver lines directly from her book-SO lame (lion and the lamb-the stars could barely spit these words out). Sadly, now I hear Stephie is directing music video-save us all. This movie will impact Kristen Stewarts career, looking less than professional if she continues with the remaining sequels -which again speak volumes of "super cheese" once introducing "Nessie." LAME LAME LAME, save your cash and reread the book!
