I was so deeply disappointed with this film and I do not recommend seeing it in the theaters. The film was very obvious and predictable, I have a hard time understanding why an actress like Nicole Kidman would agree to be in this film, it makes no sense at all. The film was very sloppy and felt like it was not finished and rushed. I think Nicolas cage gave up on his career by this point, we know that he only cares about the paycheck and he is not even trying to hide it anymore, it is truly sad because i used to think that he is a good actor. The sad thing about this film is that the idea is brilliant but it was not realized on the big screen in a good way.

It makes sense why Nicolas Cage is in this film, he is just taking any films and caching the checks, the unanswered question is why Nicole Kidman is in it, why Nicole, why?! An actress of her caliber and talent should not be in this film because it was terrible and I am not overexaggerating at all. Most of the scenes in the film are borrowed from other movies like “Hostage” and the other scenes are boring, stupid and oh so predictable. This is a thriller with no intensity and suspense, there is not even a hint of it. Nicole Kidman totally wasted her talent on this film and I think I finally gave up on Nicolas Cage, he does not care about acting anymore, it is all about money for him.

This is a drama about a couple who are held captive as they discover multiple betraylas that they commited to each other, the film is directed by Joel Schumacher and stars Nicolas Cage, Nicole Kidman and Cam Gigandet. I am very disappointed to say that I did not like this film and I do not recommend seeing it in the theaters. I love Nicole Kidman and I think she is an amazing actress and I think this film is way beyond her, i have no idea why she signed up for it in the first place. The film is extremely obvious and sloppy and that is unforgivable. The cinematography in the film is amazing, it looks great but that is it, there is no substance and no thought behind and after it is over you feel very thankful.
