This is an action drama about eight teenagers who come together to fight when their country is invaded and their families are taken away, the film is directed by Stuart Beattie and stars Caitlin Stasey, Rachel Hurd-Wood and Lincoln Lewis.I was surprised by this film, I went in prepared to absolutely hate it but I was actually entertained and even though the film is pretty silly I had a good time watching it, it might just be guilty pleasure kind of film. The film was very engaging and definitely created mainly for teenagers although I had fun watching it as well. It is full of cliches and stereotypes but it works for this film sort of in a way that it worked for “The Breakfast Club”. The acting in the film is alright and the storyline is always on the edge of being extremely silly but I found myself rooting for the characters and that is a good sign. Overall, if you are looking for some mindless entertainment this is definitely a film for you.
