  This is a drama by a Portuguese director João Pedro Rodrigues about a drag queen Tonia and her life. I think that the film could have been so much better if it was more steady with it’s tone. The part of the movie where they show the horrors that Tonia endure after te sex change operation are very good and engaging but when Tonia enters the enchanted forest the film loses it’s suspense and it becomes a total mess. I did not like the way the film was shot because most of the shots were to dragged out and boring. Fernando Santos does an amazing job as Tonia and in my opinion makes this film watchable. Overall, I do not recommend seeing it in the theaters.
