This Is The End Movie Reviews
User reviews on This Is The End
My wife and I went to see this piece of garbage and we determined that this movie was the worst piece of trash to ever leave Hollywood.
We suffered half way through this fiasco until our supper started to come back up so we got up and walked out
If we would of had to pay to see this drivel, I would have asked for my money back.
This is one of the worst movies I have ever seen. I even tried to get my money back. To be sure it is the last time I will ever watch a movie with any of these idiots involved.
I am so glad that this comedy was re-released because I did not get to see it on the big screen and I really wanted to see it in the theaters and now I get to. All of my friends have seen this film and they all loved it and now I get to say that I also saw it and I also loved it. The film was totally hilarious and it has the best cast of comedic actors who have a great chemistry on the screen. I loved the scene with Michael Cera and I will not be able to think about him the same way anymore, it was so freaking funny. Overall, if you have not seen this film, I highly recommend you rush to the theater and get a good dose of comedy.
I am so glad that this film is being re-released because I was traveling when it came out and I never got to see it in the theaters. I absolutely loved this comedy and highly recommend seeing it in the theaters. I do not remember the last time I have laughed so hard, the film was totally hilarious and the cast was perfect. I usually do not like the humor of that particular group of actors but my boyfriend loves them so I have to watch a lot of movies with them in it, however this film was different because I also found it to be really funny. Overall, it is a great film to see if you are feeling down and need a dose of humor.
Everybody kept telling me that this film was awesome and I totally missed out on not seeing it on the big screen. Well, when I found out that it is being re-released, I made sure to go and see it in the theater. I have to say that my friends were right, this film was definitely worth the price of the movie ticket and if you have not seen it yet, I highly recommend you do it. The movie was really funny and it had an amazing cast of great comedic actors that had a great chemistry on the screen. I laughed so hard and my favorite character was definitely Michael Cera, you will not be able to think of him as a good and innocent guy after seeing this film. Overall, it is a great comedy and I am glad that I got to see it on the big screen.
If you like stoner comedies, this is a good one with lots of laughs, most of them predictable but who cares? But I'm begging Seth Rogen: please, please stop now, and don't turn into one of those old farts who don't know how to stop playing 20-somethings.
Made for teenagers.
We get it: you like weed......you like to masturbate.......you all like yourself so much that you made a movie about.....you.
100 minutes of perfection it is not.
Don't trust these overblown positive reviews.
If yours were among the $33 million that went to This Is The End this past weekend, then continue reading. If yours weren’t and you don’t care how the movie ends, then okay, keep reading.
By now you know that the movie ends with a cameo from the Backstreet Boys (I guess that’s a happy ending). But this wasn’t the first ending, as Seth Rogen and co-writer/director Evan Godlberg confessed in a recent interview:
“This Is the End originally concluded after two of the friends are beamed up into heaven. But when the film was test screened, audiences were miffed at not following the characters into the great beyond.”
So the ‘heavenly’ ending (which included Elvis and Marilyn Monroe in mid-waltz) was scrapped and the one in the movie was now shot. As to why the Backstreet Boys were chosen to close things out, well, apparently Justin Bieber was not on the short list of heavenly musical muses.
This Is The End was literally 100 minutes of perfection.
Summer, and all that you entail, oh, how I missed thee so.
This is the best way to describe just how fall down funny and hysterically hilarious this movie is. I would rate this as one of the all-time greatest comedies to come out of Hollywood. I would say it's more outrageous than "Bruno" and equally as funny - if not more so - than "Borat", which in my book is still the movie that makes me laugh like no other in the entire universe. If you're a fan of crude humor that is also social commentary, then this is the flick for you. Also, do yourself a favor and keep track of all the movie star cameos in the movie. I stopped counting at 30 but there are hella more and I'd love to see an official tally. I hope they make a sequel!
I just didn't get this movie at all. Complete waste of time and money for me. 'course, I didn't like Ted either, and a lot of folks loved that. Most of the audience laughed throughout this movie, but only a few scenes gave me a chuckle.
