I've never been a fan of Adam Sandler's but I do think Andy Samberg is cute and talented so I decided to give this movie a chance. Boy, was I wrong. This movie has nothing funny about it. It's just gross for gross sake and doesn't even try to be funny. I think it's a new low for Sandler and I won't be seeing any more of his movies ever again- sorry Adam!
My boyfriend insisted that we watch that uber dumb movie "Jack and Jill" or whatever it was called where Sandler played his own twin sister in the movie. I still can't believe Al Pacino agreed to act in the piece of crap. Maybe he's getting senile? I lost a lot of respect for him after that. I hope that since "That's My Boy" didn't turn out the way they wanted this means Andy Samberg will head back to SNL where he belongs and Sandler will finally retrire before we have to watch him in his 50s playing the same juvenile idiot. UGH!

This was the most disgusting, unfunny and overall terrible film i have seen in my life and I do not recommend seeing it in the theaters, actually you should tell other people about how horrible it is and save them from wasting their time, money and brain cells. The film was gross and full of dirty and unfunny jokes that were mean-spirited and most of the time offensive. I knew this film will not be good and I had very low expectations going into it but Adam Sandler managed to screw up even those low expectations. This film was agonizing and i felt that I was being punished for something so I hope you will listen to me and avoid this film at all costs.

This film was really horrible and I do not recommend seeing it in the theaters. There are many flaws in this film but the worst thing is that it was mean spirited from start to finish. The jokes were absolutely not funny and I do not think that Adam Sandler can sink any lower. I felt offended by this film and it just seems that Sandler has no respect for his audience at all. This film was vulgar and every single joke was disgusting and I did not laugh once, actually i did not even smile, i just had an expression of disgust on my face through the whole thing. I guess it serves me right because I decided to give Adam Sandler one more chance and he really did not deserve one.

This movie has got to be one of the most repulsive, crude, distasteful movies I have ever seen.
I am totally grossed out by all the Masturbation and F words used in this movie. I wouldn't take my dog or my worst friend to see this movie if I was paid to do it. Wish I'd have walked out like I thought about doing but kept hoping it would get better (which it did NOT).
The trailer was not indicative of what the movie was truly like. I feel it is necessary for the public to be advised through the trailer what the content is like! IT DID NOT!!
I will not honor this movie with a rating.

This one has to be a new low for Adam Sandler. I admit that I only ventured into the theater because my son wanted to see the movie soooo badly but nothing prepared me for this. It's about as base and raunchy as a movie can be without being totally and completely asinine. Sandler plays a down on his luck father who turns to his successful son (Andy Samberg) to help him get back on his feet.
It should be funny but it's really just a gross-out fest that goes straight for the toilet, sex, and masturbation jokes. The movie seems to be in some kind of race to be as crude as possible but unlike other movies that had dirty jokes - like "The Hangover" and "Bridesmaids" - this one is devoid of any intelligence or wit. I can say with confidence that this is the last time I let my kids talk me into seeing a "comedy" with anyone that used to be on SNL. SKIP IT!

I am officially done with Adam Sandler’s films and I swear I will never ever spend my money on his crappy movies. I did not want to see this film but all of my friends did so I guess peer pressure got to me and I had to spend my time and money watching this so-called movie. It was stupid, offensive and not funny whatsoever and I fantasized about strangling Sandler multiple times throughout this film. I love watching Samberg on Saturday Night Live and I am sad that he is leaving, especially if he is going to make movies like this one. Overall, avoid this film like plaque, it is horrible.

I am so sick of Adam Sandler and his films and now Andy Samdberg is drawn into this as well, why?! I wish Sandler just stop making this trash and retire already it is time to do that. Well, how can i describe this film in one word... Actually it is pretty easy, the film is incredibly stupid and offensive and overall just horrible. I just wish that Andy Samdberg did not involve himself in this kind of film but I have read somewhere that Sandler has been his idol for years and that really lowered my opinion about Samberg. Overall, I suggest you avoid this film at all cost and tell others not to see it.

Adam Sandler has one of the strongest and most loyal fan bases of any modern movie star. How else can we explain Hollywood's enthusiasm for producing his special brand of goofball comedies that critics seem to love to tear to shreds? Sure, his movies are aimed squarely at the teenage boy in all of us, but that doesn't mean that they can't be fun and funny - at least most of the time.
Andy Samberg joins Sandler this time as his ultra successful son Todd. Sandler plays Donny Berger, a one-time 1980s phenom who has fallen on hard times. When pop seeks out his son for help, the son is quick to spurn his requests, though for all the wrong reasons. Eventually, they come to an understanding that satisfies every Hollywood movie.
The movie is different from other Sandler flicks because it isn't just a showcase for his goofy comic timing: its a full blown raunchfest, replete with as many sex and toilet jokes as its two-hour running time can pack in. If that isn't your thing, you'll want to stay away. But if you don't mind the endless gaggle of dirty jokes, you'll be laughing your way through the end credits.

This is one of those movies that you wanted to like more than you actually did. It's definitely better than Sandler's last movie "Jack & Jill" where he played his own sister. I'd give credit to Andy Samberg for making this one as funny as it is - and it is really funny is some of its most gross-out moments that will have you covering your eyes and wondering how they ever thought of some of these ideas!
Samberg plays Todd who is the son of Donny Berger (Sandler), a washed up 80s star who needs some money. When Berger goes to his successful son for help, he at first says no, but later they learn to appreciate each other for who they are. Nothing out of the ordinary here, just your usual Sandler hijinks and crazy antics. If you loved him on SNL, chances are you'll like his latest comedy. If you liked Andy Samberg on SNL, chances are you'll want to see him in even better comedies the next time around.
