I really liked this film and I highly recommend seeing it in the theaters. The film was really believable and that is kind of scary. There are no special effects and the tension is built on the idea that it can easily happen to anybody and I think that is spectacular. Michael Shannon gives an excellent performance and I can not imagine anybody else doing a better job with this role. I love the way the film explores family politics and how the characters struggle with trusting each other . The film is very unsettling and it moves you in a way that it is almost scary. Overall, it is a film that must be seen and talked about.

This is a film about a young family man starts having apocalyptic dreams and visions, the film is directed by Jeff Nichols and stars Michael Shannon, Jessica Chastain and Shea Whigham. I really liked this film and I highly recommend seeing it in the theaters. The film is very relevant and the director was able to portray the modern anxiety very accurately. One can tell that Jeff Nichols is a masterful and thoughtful director that can handle big themes in a small way. I did think that the film was a bit too long and some of the scenes could have been much shorter, otherwise the film was perfect.
