This is a martial arts film about a small village where everyone knows the art of Tai Chi. When Lu Chan arrives nobody wants to teach him Tai Chi but circ**stances change when a man from the village’s past arrives and wants to build a railroad through the village at any cost. I am a big fan of martial arts films but I did not find this movie appealing. I thought the plot was really bad and I did not really like the frenzic mixing of styles and references, it was distracting and quite annoying. Even though the film looked great visually I was quite bored and I do not think it is worth seeing in the theaters.
