This is a drama about a journalist and his girlfriend who get pulled in while they investigate a cult whose leader claims to be from the future, the film is directed by Zal Batmanglij and stars Christopher Denham, Nicole Vicius and Brit Marling. I liked this film and I think it is worth seeing in the theaters. At first glance I thought this film is going to be terrible but I was pleasantly surprised by it. I found the story to be very interesting and unique and I liked how the director examined the themes of identity, loyalty and our need to belong. THe film is low budget and it just shows that you do not need a big budget to make a film that is engaging and interesting. The twist in the end is very surprising and it makes you think and I love when movies do that. Overall, I recommend seeing this film in the theaters.
