Dude, this movie is awesome. It is totally appropriate for kids, I mean me and my boyfriend were the only "adults" there besides kids parents. And we STILL LOVED IT! its not supposed to be the greatest film ever, i mean what do you expect, its the smurfs, but it's still really funny and cute. And Neil Patrick Harris is great as always, the voices are really good, and the 3D animation is quite impressive. There is a lot of product placement but who cares, i mean at least it wasn't for Apple Products, like they need more money.

I feel ripped off and highly offended, this film was the worst thing that I have experienced in a long time and I can not believe that i willingly paid to see this crap. I think that this film is the cause of my nightmares, that is how bad and nauseating it was. I am really not over exaggerating, it was absolutely horrible and i do not understand why Neil Patrick Harris agreed to be in this film. First of all, this is not a film for kids, I am so happy I did not take my little nephew to see it because it is full of foul language and sex(the filmmakers “disguised” it but really kids are not dumb and they will understand what is going on).

I honestly did not see what was so horrible with this movie. Apparently people do not have a sense of humor anymore. I think it was pretty funny and cute. And if people are that sensitive about smurf innuendos, then they need to learn to read the rating on the movie...PG means "Parental Guidance." Meaning, speak to your children before going in and explain that there may be something in there that isn't that appropriate and to just ignore it. It's called common sense parenting.
But aside from reading all these horrible complaints about the movie. . .The movie was cute and fun. If you have common sense and a sense of humor, then you will enjoy the movie.
And the plot makes sense. "The bad guy is chasing the smurfs"...and you can figure it from there so I won't spoil anything else.
    Have a great day :)

this is the sorriest movie theater I have ever had to deal with. I was on the phone for 15 minutes just to find out what time the movie was showing....!! I had to listen to a list of ads to get the information I needed...! I will wait until it comes out on CD before I ever go to another movie that is supported by faindingo....!!! You people suck...!!! As far as the movie goes, I can't really tell you...let you know when it comes out on DVD...!

I don`t think that this film is worth dissertation editing, but I liked these toys in my childhood, so it gave me good memories

My granddaughter and I loved this movie. If you like The Smurfs and you understand family bonds, then you will find this movie endearing.

What can I say, there are no words to describe how horrible and nauseating this film is, but I will try my best. First of all, the story is ridiculous and it makes no sense, the film is not suited for children and definitely not suited for adults either, that means that the film was created for an audience that does not exist. The movie has bad dialogue, it is not funny, not smart and at times it was just plain sick and wrong. I swear i had nightmares after seeing this film. so my verdict is death to this film and I hope you will read this review and it will save you from losing your brain cells.

I did not like this film and I do not recommend seeing it in the theaters with your children or without them. I still can not figure out what audience this film was made for. It is definitely not suited for children and it is way too stupid and pointless for adults. There were a lot of product placements in the film and I absolutely hate that and i think it is shameful and disgusting. The film was a complete mess and most of the time it did not make any sense at all. I still can not figure out what exactly happened in this film and why I decided to see it in the first place. Overall, this film was terrible and intriguing in its own weirdness, i still wish i did not waste my money on it.

This is an animated film directed by Raja Gosnell and stars Hank Azaria, Katy Perry and Jonathan Winters. I did not like this film because I do not think it is suited for children, it has too much of foul language. The smurfs do not exactly swear, instead they say, “Son of a smurf” and a lot of stuff like that. My child knew exactly what they were saying and I do not appreciate that. I wish they made a film for children, not adults. I think the actors did a good job with the voices of the smurfs. Overall, I do not recommend seeing this film with your children because it is not appropriate for young audience.
