Sanctum Movie Reviews

Boring.......The story itself was good enough. But it was so drawn out in repititive scenario that you get tired of watching long before it's over...Wasn't crazy bout the ending either....
The movie was totally whatever, I thought that the story was interesting and it was based on true events, but the acting and the dialogue completely ruined it. It was hard to get emotionally invested in the characters because the acting was bad and the dialogue sure did not help it. on the other hand, visually the movie is really beautiful and when there was no dialogue, only action, I actually felt a real sense of danger. In my opinion, if the writting was better and the actors did not suck, this movie could have been really really good. However, it was not the case and most of the movie was ruined by really terrible dialogue and poor acting. Overall, the film was not terrible but not good either. I would say it was slightly above the average and I suggest renting it instead of spending extra money to see it in theaters.
Sanctum is the latest movie to have James Cameron’s touch. It is another movie about getting in a terrible situation in nature and surviving against horrible odds. The movie starts off with a group of explorers looking for adventure. They decide to take on one of the biggest caves in the world. This movie was also made in 3D but I am not a fan of 3D so I decided to see it regularly. The visuals are absolutely stunning and I wish I had seen it in 3D. I am a little bit claustrophobic so this movie was hard to watch at times. It is a disaster story at its very core but it is also action packed. Great movie all in all.
Sanctum is the new action film “from” executive producer James Cameron. I am not quite sure what “from” means but I will see anything James Cameron is associated with. Sanctum was not quite what I was expecting. The movie is about a group of cave explorers who go into one of the largest caves in the world. Once in, a tropical storm forces them to go deeper into the dark cave. This is where the craziness starts. The movie was absolutely beautiful. The location used and the wide shots are spectacular. It seems like they used some type of special camera (which I’m sure Cameron provided) to get the absolutely picturesque shots of the cave and nature. The movie is fast-paced and well written. I really loved Sanctum and recommend it to anyone.
