I have not seen ballet in years and I can not tell you how much I have enjoyed Giselle. I felt like I was in a fairy tale and it made me feel so good inside. Alina Cojocary does not even look like human when she dances, i mean it in the best way possible. She looks light as a feather and so graceful. Her dancing is incredible and you can see every single emotion portrayed while she is dancing. I could not take my eyes off her. Watching her is like watching some wonderful creature from another world. Johan Kobborg was brilliant as well, they had great chemistry and he has great lifting power,it makes Giselle seem even more like a feather. The story itself is so beautiful and magical that even if the dancing was not excellent (it was though) I would have enjoyed this ballet greatly. The story is really sad, because Giselle dies of a broken heart in the end, but it is so beautiful in it's sadness. The decorations and the look of the stage was absolutely magnificent and added to the overall feel of magic and mystery. The music was overwhelmingly beautiful and i say "Bravo" to the orchestra. I encourage everyone to go and loose yourself in this wonderful ballet, you will leave uplifted and full of positive emotions.
