I thought his film was great and if you are interested in history and France you should definitely see this film. I thought the movie was very powerful and dramatic, I also thought it was very brave of the director to make a film about such a bleak period in France’s history. The film is very well balanced and very straight forward and I really liked that, it was a bit sentimental from time to time but one can expect that from films like this one. The film is very well acted and well made and I really cared about all of the characters. Overall, I really liked this film and I highly recommend seeing it in the theaters.

This is a history drama about 1942 "Vel' d'Hiv Roundup", the film is directed by Rose Bosch and stars Jean Reno, Mélanie Laurent and Gad Elmaleh. I know this film was huge in Europe and I can see why but I do not think that it will be a hit in the United States because Americans will no be able to relate to this film. I liked this film and if you like French movies then you will like it as well but if you do not then I suggest you avoid this movie. I think that this film was very well balanced and very interesting. The film is very straight forward and not overly sentimental which I always appreciate. It is not a pleasant film and the events that take place are horrible but i applaud the director for making such a sobering film about it.
