Rio 2 in 3D Movie Reviews
User reviews on Rio 2 in 3D
I am not the biggest fan of this film and I think there are better animations out there, however my sister’s kid loved it and the film was created for her, so I guess it did its job. I felt that this animation could not make up its mind, the themes kept changing and it was a bit too chaotic for me. I did like that the pacing of the movie was fast and I can assure you that the kids will not get bored with it. However, the adults might feel exhausted after seeing it, there is a lot going on in this animation… Visually the film is colorful and impressive and the characters were charming and memorable, however the story lacked originality. Overall, the little ones will enjoy this movie immensely, while the adults will be able to sit through it quite comfortably.
I took my kid to see this film and we both had a good time watching it. He begged me to see it in 3D and i was hesitant because 3D usually gives me a headache, but it’s hard to say no to my little guy… Anyway, I thought it was worth seeing it in 3D, the film looked great and surprisingly it did not give me a headache, even though the film was very colorful and quite chaotic. I liked the characters, they were charming and memorable and the song-and-dance sequences were quite good as well. The animation is very charming and even though the story was lacking, i still had a decent time watching it. The message of the film is good, but a bit scattered, basically it felt that the film had ADD but my kid loved that aspect, so I guess it is perfect for children.
