Richard Garriot: Man on A Mission Movie Reviews
User reviews on Richard Garriot: Man on A Mission
I liked this film and if you are a person who is interested in space and have always wondered how it would be to explore the universe, this film is for you then. Since I have been little I was fascinated with space and this film was like a dream come true, i watched an ordinary person (keeping in mind that he is a multimillionaire) venture into space and I loved every second of it. Richard Gariott had to learn Russian(which trust me is a very difficult language to learn) and go through months of grueling physiological testing but he made his dream come true and that is awesome. I know this film will not appeal to a wide audience but i had a great time watching it.
This is a doc**entary about the legendary computer game developer Richard Garriott's and his space flight in October 2008, the film is directed by Mike Woolf and stars Sergey Brin, Mike Fincke and Renita Fincke. I did not like this film and I do not recommend seeing it in the theaters. I am not sure for what kind of audience this movie was made but I can tell you that it was not made for me. The film did not feel professional ad it wasn not made well, i do not think it should be called a doc**entary unless it was made by a very excited twelve- year-old. I guess the filmmakers wanted this film to be inspiring but it failed at that and I could not wait until it was over.
