This film was a bit too quiet and slow for my taste but it did have some great moments and I think it is worth seeing but not in the theaters. The film is very naturalistic and I think it was a bit too real for my taste. The film was very sincere and I admire that but I will be honest, it almost put me to sleep and maybe i should be ashamed of that but it’s true and I think a lot of people will feel the same. I do think that he film addresses very important issues and it paints a very good picture of what it is like to come back to a world you no longer feel part of. The lead actress Linda Cardellini did an amazing job with her role and it was a real pleasure to watch her. -
This is a drama about a soldier who comes back from duty and struggles to adapt, the film is directed by Liza Johnson and stars Linda Cardellini, Michael Shannon and John Slattery. I thought the film was mediocre and I do not think it is worth seeing in the theaters. I was kind of bored during this film and found it way too slow. I am not a big fan of indie films and if you do then you might love this film I do have to say that the acting was really good and the story is pretty powerful as well, I just did not like the way the story was told and that is just because I do not enjoy indie films. I could tell that he film was low budget but i guess the director made the best of it and it looked alright. Overall, if you like indie films then you will probably like this one but if you are not a fan then avoid it.
