Reagan, as the title illustrates, is about Ronald Reagan, our 40th president of the United States. The film is by a newcomer director and is based on 2 best-selling biographies. The film began with the 1981 assassination attempt and the story was told through flashbacks and flash forwards. At times I was a little confused where we were in the timeline because of these jumps, especially because I am not very familiar with the story of this president. I don’t think the movie portrayed Reagan in a good light, but that is probably because the writer was not a fan of the president. I did think the movie was good though. It was interesting and easy to watch. I hope this movie gets a national release.
