I loved this film and I highly recommend seeing it in the theaters. The film is very interesting and it is beautiful visually, very stylish and sophisticated. The film just has a feeling of glamour and I truly enjoyed watching it. However, I do think that Jana Plodkova and Marek Daniel did not have a good chemistry together even though they are great actors and did a great job with their roles, they were just not very believable as a married couple. I am very impressed by the Chekoslovakian filmmakers and I am happy that the country is making such great films now. -
This is a drama directed by Marek Najbrt and starring Matthias Brandt, Jan Budar and Marek Daniel. This is a Czech film about ordinary people dealing with the Nazi occupation. I really liked this film because it was interesting, involving and it was very well acted. As the film was going i could not stop wondering what would i have done in the situation, i love that the director focused on ordinary and flawed people, I felt connected to the characters and i could relate to them. i was really surprised that the film was made by Czechs, it was good quality and I am very happy that the country’s film industry is coming alive and producing such wonderful films like this one. Overall, I highly recommend seeing this film in theaters.
