This is a doc**entary about Filmmaker Ross McElwee who tries to understand his teenage son by rediscovering his past and glancing into his own journey to adulthood. I bet a lot of people will absolutely love this doc**entary but it was not my cup of tea. I found the film to be too sad and devastating, it was also a bit egocentric. I can not deny that the film was very well made and one can tell that director McElwee is a veteran doc**entarian but this film did not charm me as his previous movies did. Overall, i think this film is good but I found it to be a bit too sad for my taste.
