Paranormal Activity 3 Movie Reviews

I was quite surprised with this film, do not get me wrong, it was not a great film but it was much better than I expected. The film does not show us anything new(unless you count self-made rotating camera) but it has a decent amount of laughs and scares to keep you alert and interested. i also thought that the cast did great and they were very believable as a family(the girls were adorable). I liked that the action was set in 80’s and the house looked very 80’s, congrats to the set designer. i did not like the ending of the film however, i though it was unnecessary and not as scary as other two.
If you are a fan of the first two films you will definitely like the third one. Nothing really new happens here and the filmmakers do not stray away from a well proven formula but there are more jokes in this film and I feel like more scary stuff was happening in this film. The cast did very well and I really liked the actress who played the mother, she did great and the girls were adorable as well. I’ll be honest I was scared a lot throughout this film but yet again I am easily scared. I thought the ending was a bit silly and not as scary as the endings of the previous films. Overall, it is a great film to see on Halloween, it will definitely scare you.
Chalk one up for "more of the same". You'd expect the law of diminishing returns to be in full effect here in Paranormal Activity 3, but darn it, the premise somehow works again. Directed by the guys that created Catfish, PA3 is a lot of the same as you got in the first two films, but it's just as effective at scaring the heck out of you.
In this prequel to the prequel that was Paranormal Activity 2, we're in 1988, with the girls who will become the grown women in the first two movies. They live with their mom and step-dad, who just happens to be a wedding videographer. When weirdness starts to happen around the house, he sets up cameras, which the filmmakers use to their advantage. The scares mostly come from these stationary cameras, though there's a lot of fun to be had with a camera mounted to an oscillating fan.
If you've seen the first two movies, you're not going to be surprised by anything here. But like the first two, there is something to be said for a movie that's just trying to scare you as opposed to trying to gross you out.
This movie was totally awesome and I highly recommend seeing it in the theaters if you like these kinds of movies. I thought the previous two films were nowhere as good as this one, I was pleasantly surprised. The film scared me many times and the tension was really high, I loved it! What I liked about this film is that it felt very real and genuine, therefore the scares were extra scary. I also liked that the film had couple laughs in it. Overall, I had a lot of fun watching this film and I am a little bit surprised to say it.
The film is set in 1988 and follows the sisters Katie and Kristi as they befriend an invisable entity, the film is directed by Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman and stars Chloe Csengery, Jessica Tyler Brown and Christopher Nicholas Smith. I liked the two previous films, I know they are silly and all but I had a good time watching it, this third film was the best one and the scariest one. There were laughs in the film and I thought that the characters were well developed and very interesting. I was legitimately scared couple of times and had a hard time falling asleep that night.
