One Direction: This Is Us in 3D Movie Reviews
User reviews on One Direction: This Is Us in 3D
I am a good and cool aunt and after prolonged begging from my niece I caved and agreed to take her to see this doc**entary about her favorite group One Direction. The theater was full of excited teenagers and I felt very old and very out of place but when my niece told me that I was the coolest aunt ever I felt a bit better. Anyway, the film was not horrible but if you are not a fan of this cute boy group, you will not see this film anyway so my review is kind of pointless. There was no real insight into the group but the boys are really cute and it was fun to watch them being very boyish and charming. All the girls in the audience were totally smitten by these guys and it reminded me of how I was totally in love with David Lee Roth and it also reminded me how the music changed so much since I was a teenager.
I have a friend who is 25 years old and I am sad to say that she love One Direction. I love her and she is one of my best friends but it is hard for me not to laugh when she listens to this group. Anyway, the film came out right on her birthday and the only present she wanted from her friends was our attendance to the premiere of this doc**entary. She is very lucky to have such good friends because we all showed up (quite drunk so we have a t least a bit of fun watching this movie). We saw the film in 3D which was totally unnecessary but fun and I have to say that I did not hate this doc**entary as much as I thought I will. The theater was completely full of teenagers and I felt so old but this film was targeted towards teens, however my friend could care less about that fact. Anyway, the film did not really give any real insight into the group but they were really cute and nice to look at so I guess my money did not go to waste completely.
This is not just one of those "...if you are a fan of you will love this movie, blahblahblah, reviews" but this is really one of the best concert movies I have seen in a very long time, and on pair with "The Band" or "Helter Skelter."
