I loved it!!! It gets off to a slow start until this Timothy Green kid shows up in the life of a childless, unhappy couple. The part he plays is magical in every life he touches and the story line is so unique and expected, you'll be fascinated by the sweet twists and turns of the beauty of what can happen when you send out an intention, a wish, to the universe.

    Very good movie.

It ends differently that I thought it would, but that even made it better.

My wife and I saw it and both enjoyed it. We might even rent it from Red Box when it comes out.

I went to see this movie with three kids 7,9, 10 and we were really disappointed. We didn't like at all, waste of time.

This film is exactly what you think it will be going into it. A standard Disney tale that has plenty of ups and downs. The Odd Life of Timothy Green is about a family who aren’t able to have a child no matter what they try. Science can’t help them at all. So, they turn to hope and a bit of magic and in the morning, a child of their own shows up at their door. Obviously, the child isn’t normal. The rest of the film is about figuring out parenting for new parents. I can’t say this movie was bad because it had all the standard plot points of a Disney film. However, it wasn’t great. Jennifer Garner was good in the film as always but some of her costars were less than compelling. Overall I somewhat enjoyed the film but i’m not sure if I would recommend it.

Jennifer Garner stars in this feel-good family film about a couple who can’t seem to have a child of their own. Through some Disney magic, a child shows up at their door who is exactly the child they want. The child is obviously magical in some way since he came from the garden and has leaves growing out of his legs. I’m not sure why they decided to have that as part of the movie but I guess it needed to be in there. This film is all about parenting. It is a movie that will make parents go through all of the emotions: sadness, happiness, joy, loss etc. One of the problems with the film is I always knew where the story was going. Although the story was pretty original, it was obvious where the story was going at all times. This didn’t really take away much from the film if you were expecting a standard Disney tale. Overall, pretty good movie.

The Odd Life of Timothy Green was definitely a unique movie. In terms of storyline, I have never heard of anything like this. The film is about a couple, who after trying everything to have a child, is still not able to procreate. Then, they write down everything they would want from a child and plant it in their garden. The next night, that exact child shows up at their door. I won’t give anything else away about the story but overall I did enjoy the movie. It’s a disney film so it’s obviously going to have a very standard story arch. A couple negative points were that the actors weren’t always believable. The film stayed child-friendly the entire time and is a great film for the entire family. I would definitely recommend this movie.

I thought this film was alright and you might want to see it with your family if you have nothing better to do. It is a typical Disney film full of magical moments and beautiful shots but for me none of that rings true. I went to see this film with my family and everybody loved it but I am a cynic in our family and i found this film to be a bit fake and too gooey and sweet, I know I sound like a grumpy person but that is how I feel about this film. I know the whole film is supposed to be magical, inspirational and so on but I did not feel the magic and I did not believe in this film.

I did not like this film and do not recommend seeing it in the theaters. I am really starting to hate Disney and I am very sad to say that . The film was insincere, full of annoying sentimentality and I just did not have a good time watching it. I also found this film to be very boring and very fake and moralistic and that is just a combo that I truly dislike. I did not understand the point of the factory subplot because it added nothing to the story and it went nowhere. The acting was alright but nothing special and overall this film is easily forgettable and mediocre.

This movie reminded me of that Tom Hanks and Sandra Bullock movie from last year, Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, except that that movie was about 9/11 and this one is about adoption. Both movies show adults that don't understand what children go through and both movies show how kids can see things a lot more clearly than the grown ups that have screwed up the world. Jennifer Garner is really great in this movie and I think it's a pity that we don't get to see her more often on screen. She should do more than just play young mother roles, she's a very capable actress. I also liked the whole fantasy angle of the movie, kind of makes you think that it may have all been just a dream. I agree that it gets kinda sappy at some spots, but all in all, it's an enjoyable film and one that couples and families should see. I'm not married and don't have kids but I liked it a great deal. It will definitely move you if you let it.
