I hate faith-based films and I was tricked into seeing this one. It was absolutely horrible, unrealistic and overall stupid film and i hope people will not see it. This film should not be called film, it is propaganda of the worst kind and the makers of this film should be ashamed of themselves. Even if I agreed with the point of view of this film (which I never will) it was just a bad movie overall and it would be a waste of your money and time. Overall, I think this film is horrible and I do not recommend seeing it in the theaters.

A real life victory when an abortion factory botched up making a technician into a midwife with one look in the eyes. How many of us wished our mothers tried to abort us. Thank God more baby's are not aborted. I would wish all middle school kids could see this film

The movie October Baby did a great job of showing the abortion issue from many different perspectives. From the person who survived the abortion, to the birth mother, to the adoptive parents and even the abortion clinic nurse. I thought the movie took a lot of twists and turns which made it all the more interesting. The main theme that runs through this movie is forgiveness and healing. What better subject matter can you have in a movie-we all need more of both. I will recommend this movie to others and would see it again.

Decent film. Definite pro-life message but that shouldn't be a problem even if you happen to be pro-choice- this is America! Well worth the price of the ticket. The premise of this movie is strangely similar to a recent novel, ONLY WOMEN BLEED, by L.J. Rivard. The main character in the novel learns on her twenty-first birthday that she survived abortion as an infant. The novel's main character, Jessica, also was born in October! She goes on a quest to find out the truth about her beginnings, in particular, the woman who aborted her. The book is not preachy at all, like some of the comments I've heard about the movie. It's a good read, written by a lawyer, and so I learned a little something about the state of abortion law in this country as a bonus. ONLY WOMEN BLEED is available on amazon. The similarities between the book and the movie are a little uncanny since the topic is so unique, but I'd recommend both!

This is a drama about a college freshman who learns that she is a survivor of an attempted abortion, the film is directed by Andrew Erwin and Jon Erwin and stars Rachel Hendrix, Jason Burkey and John Schneider. I did not like this film and I do not recommend seeing it in the theaters. The film was a complete mess and I could not wait to leave the theater. The film was made badly, the tone was all over the place and it was way too long. I also did not enjoy the overload of music which tried to compensate for the story and also the infinite amount of beauty shots that were pointless and really annoying. It is a propaganda film that blatantly tries to shove certain ideas down your throat and it literally made me sick to my stomach. Overall, I hope you will avoid this film and tell other people not to see it.

I was able to see a pre-screening of this movie; it is very good. Please gather your friends and fellow parishioners and go the movie theater on the opening weekend. I will be seeing it with my family when it opens. Its important to support good films like these to make Hollywood take notice. The scene in the movie with the young lady and the priest is wonderful. Nice to have the Church and our priests portrayed positively (sadly that is not always the case) They are going to show the real life story of one of the actresses as the credits role at the end of the movie ... if you go - please stay to listen to her story of God's healing love.

“October Baby” is a beautiful portrayal of forgiveness and healing. It is so moving, so powerful. It is a story about a young girl and her search for the truth, the truth as to why she is alive, and is based on a true story. The film also has a startling twist to the story, which shows how the mercy of God can come to us in the most unexpected and unimaginable ways. Tell all your family and friends about it. Please watch the movie trailer (Shari’s Story) it is so great.

This is coming of age story about a naive college freshman who discovers that her whole life is a lie, the film is directed by Andrew Erwin, Jon Erwin and stars Rachel Hendrix, Jason Burkey and John Schneider. I thought that the film is alright but I don’t think it is worth seeing in the theaters. I think it was way too sentimental, my friend cried but then again she cries about everything(that sounded mean but it is the truth). Some scenes in the film work very well but overall it was way too much emotional mumbo jumbo for my taste.
