My 8 year old grandson thought this movie was awesome, and I thought it was adorable. It even had a good storyline. Why adults are being so critical about it is beyond me. It's a movie for children for heavens sake. It was so enjoyable listening to my grandson laugh heartily numerous times while watching it. I would recommend this movie and when I as an adult want to watch something that makes a lasting impression, I'll seek out something more adult and thought provoking.

I saw this film with my nephew and we both had a good time watching it but it was totally forgettable, therefore I do not recommend seeing it in the theaters, you can enjoy it at a lower price at the comfort of your home. It is a good-natured film with funny characters and superb voice-over, but it was very predictable and I did not like the main character or other characters for that matter. I also found the plot to be quite odd and with a lot of obvious holes in it. In this day and age the viewer is quite spoiled with amazing animation and this film did not stand out n that department whatsoever. Overall, it is a mediocre animated film and I think it is better off watched at home.

My niece and I were feeling nuts and we decided to see this film for that occasion. Well, I thought this film was alright, it wasn’t bad and it wasn’t good either, just mediocre. My niece seemed to have a good time watching it, however, as soon as we left the theater, she totally forgot about it and talked about a show on Discovery channel. So, I have to conclude that the film did not make a lasting impression on her either. I think the main problem of this feature is the lack of likability of the characters. I found all of them to be quite annoying and the main character was kind of a jerk, which I did not like. The animation was nothing to brag about and the plot had some gaps in it. Overall, I do not recommend seeing this film on the big screen because I do not think that it is worth the price of the movie ticket.

I am an aunt and as a good aunt I try to bribe my niece and nephew into liking me, so I take them to movies that their parents dread to go to. This was one of those movies, I had a horrible time watching it and I do not recommend seeing it in the theaters or renting it. It seemed that the kids were having an alright time watching it, but even they did not leave this film wit a lasting impression. My biggest thing with this movie was the central character. Will Arnett is a talented actor, however, the character was unlikable and had no redeeming qualities which made it very hard to watch this animation. Overall, I recommend finding a better film to see with your children, or better yet, take them to the park to watch real squirrels do their thing…

I was babysitting for the night and the parents of the children bought us tickets to see this animation, well, I wish they didn’t. Maybe I am being a bit harsh, but in my opinion, this film was a total mess and I did not have a good time watching it whatsoever. The kids enjoyed it while it lasted, but they forgot about it the minute they left the theater, while they usually talk about the film they saw for hours after. I thought the film was unoriginal, the animation was not impressive and 3D was a total waste of money. The central character is not likable and all of the other characters were quite annoying in my opinion. I felt that the movie was overstretched and it did not have enough material to cover the running time. Overall, I think this film is not worth the price of a movie ticket.
