Neon Flesh (Carne de neon) Movie Reviews

I did not like this film and I do not think it is worth seeing in the theaters. The film was pretty stupid with highly unlikable characters that enjoy being hated. The director made the characters so unlikable that by the second act I did not care what will happen, I just wanted them to die already. I think the director tried to copy Guy Ritchie and he was highly unsuccessful in his endeavor. Ritchie has a very particular style that not a lot of directors can pull off and Cabezas tried to jack that style and failed miserably. It is a very tacky film with disgusting characters and stupid story and I suggest you save your money and time and see a different film.
I did not like this film and I do not recommend seeing it in the theaters. The film felt like a copy of Tarantino’s work except with no new ideas or unique style. Three main characters are highly unlikable and disgusting and there is no way one can relate to them or like them in any capacity. The director did not even try to humanize the characters and throughout the whole film I hated them with passion. The film has no purpose or context and everything in the film is superficial and shallow in the worst way possible. It just seems that throughout the whole movie the director is making fun of the characters and trying to make them look meaner and uglier every second. I felt so disgusted after seeing this film and I recommend you avoid it at all costs.
This is a comedy about a young hustler who tries to open up a brothel with his two friends, the film is directed by Paco Cabezas and stars Mario Casas, Vicente Romero and Luciano Cáceres. This movie really sucked and I do not recommend seeing it in the theaters because it would be a waste of your time and your money. It seems that the director was trying to copy Tarantino but he does not have a style or vision so the film is a complete disaster. The film is disgusting and the idea is silly and not original at all. I did not like the main character and his actions did not make sense for the most part. Overall, I suggest you stay at home and avoid seeing this film.
