If there was a movie begging for a sequel, it is this one.
This film has elements of Steven King's "Hannibal" and "Silence of the Lambs" in it's ability to keep your full attention and unexpectedly slam you back into your seat. Excellent editing with attention to detail, pacing, rhythm, and technique that is matchless. A script that some actors would kill, (no pun intended), to get - a showcase for acting and story telling skills. Mr. Kostner and Hurt with their supporting caste did a superlative job. AS the Producer, benchmarks in movie making were set by Mr. Kostner & Co.. Few, if any will be able to emulate or meet this standard - I'm truly looking forward to his next project, with high expectation.
ahhh it was soooo creepy i saw with my friend and we were up all night being like is he gonna get me? It did a good job keeping your attention but its R for a reason
I honestly debated leaving part-way through, but decided to stay so I could give a full account - I regret the decision. It's very well made and fairly interesting, but it goes to great lengths to show how pleasureable it is to murder someone. Pretty sick stuff.
