I thought that the movie was interesting and it touched topics that are important and intriguing. The acting in the film was amazing, the director created very rich and dimensional characters and the actors were able to add even more depth to them. Evan Ross is absolutely amazing in the role of Tariq Mahdi and portrays the struggle of the character masterfully. Roger Guenveur Smith who played Tariq’s father Hassan was wonderful as well and I was overall impressed by the acting in the movie. I have seen a lot of movies that touch the theme of clash of cultures, but I have never seen a movie examine it in the way that this film did. The movie was well-crafted and very interesting to watch. I highly recommend seeing it and telling about it to your friends.
