This is a small film that will appeal to children and cat lovers, i am neither so I found this film to be silly and boring. There are some good lessons for the children and the film is very innocent and light but I do not think it is worth seeing in the theaters, especially when there are so many movies for children that are much more interesting than this one. The lead actress does give a very good performance and she is very likable and is not afraid to look silly which I admire. The film was not very nice visually and the editing of the film was very odd, I did not enjoy the jokes in this film either. Overall, I do not think this film is worth seeing in the theaters.

This is a perfect family film and I recommend taking your children to see it. Sure, it is silly but it is harmless and cute and has a pretty good message for the kids, my little niece really liked it. I am a cat person so naturally I found this film to be adorable as well. The film is very light and innocent and i miss family films just like this one. The lead actress did an amazing job with this role and I suspect that it was not an easy role to tackle. I found out later that this film actually won award and I totally understand why. This is a film for children and I do not recommend it for adults only, unless you adore cats.

This s a family film about a cat who turns into a young woman who helps a journalist protect their town from an evil factory boss, the film is directed by Vincent Bal and stars Carice van Houten, Theo Maassen and Sarah Bannier. This is a perfect family film to see over the Holidays. The film is easy to watch, it is charming and has a great message for the children about necessity of civic engagement. There is enough context for the young ones and they will not have difficulty understanding what is going on. I like that the film was set in a Dutch town and my niece was very interested to know where Netherlands is and what kind of people live there after she saw this film. I think this film is perfect for the children because it is sweet and innocent and I highly recommend seeing it in the theaters.
