I loved this film and I think it was beautiful and sad and profound, I officially can not be friends with people who did not like this movie. This film is a work of art and i do not care what some critics say about this movie. This film made such an impression on me, i could not stop thinking about it for weeks and I know it had the same effect on many people. this film was not easy to watch but I can guarantee that it will move you and change you if you give it a chance. Kirsten Dunst was amazing in this film and I was very happy to see her in a role that suited her perfectly. Overall, this film is wonderful and enchanting and I am very happy that I saw it in the theaters.
The first movie I ever attended where someone yelled "I want a refund" at the end, as others (including me) were laughing (at the movie, not the guy).
This movie made me physically ill for the first 30 minutes as the rapid fire scene changes and jerky hand held camera were non stop. I had to close my eyes, and almost left because of an upset stomach. I wish I had. So, what's up with Kirsten Dunst's character, Justine, other than coming from a dysfunctional family? I'm still not sure I know. Oh, wait, I just looked it up. She's a melancholiac, I guess. And did Kiefer Sutherland's character, John, kill himself? I only figured this out after reading about it later.
The cinematography was superb, the acting was OK. Don't go.
I really liked this film and I really could not care less what the critics say, I found this film to be beautiful and interesting and I highly recommend seeing it in the theaters. This film is definitely a work of art and i enjoyed every second of it, it was mesmarazing and haunting and I could not stop thinking about this film for days. It is not an easy film to watch and it will definitely affect you in one way or another but isn’t it why we go the movies. Von Trier definitely has his own way of looking at the world and I love the way he transfers it on the big screen. Overall, I adored this film and I think it should be recognized for it’s unusual beauty.
I really liked this film and I highly recommend seeing it in the theaters. I thought that the film was simply amazing and I was so happy that at last I got to see a good film this year. I was very impressed by Kirsten Dunst, she did a phenomenal job with the role and I hope she will start getting good parts again because she is a very capable address. I love the mood of the film and I think that the director did an amazing job creating it, it is not an easy thing to do. Overall, the film was incredible and I think that it is worth seeing and telling your friends about it
I absolutely loved this film and I highly recommend seeing it in the theaters, in fact I already saw it once and I will most definitely see it again, that is how much I liked it. The experience of watching this film is almost undiscrebable, I felt enchanted somehow and did not want this film to end. The film is beautifully made and superbly acted, I was really impressed by Kirsten Dunst, she played her character brilliantly. The ideas of the film are beautiful and they will make you think, I bet you will not be able to forget this movie in a long time. Overall, I urge you to see this film and if you are not a fan of Lars von Trier, after seeing this film you will be.
This is a drama with some sci-fi elements about two sisters who have a strained relationship that is worsened by the threat of a new planet colliding into the Earth, the film is directed by Lars von Trier and stars Kirsten Dunst, Charlotte Gainsbourg and Kiefer Sutherland. I really liked this film and I highly recommend seeing it in the theaters. I thought that the film was very strange but in the same time amazing. The director was able to create a very specific and enchanting mood and I will definitely not forget this film for a very long time. I was very impressed with Kirsten Dunst who gave a very strong and interesting performance, at last i see the old Kirsten back. Overall, you will not regret seeing this film, I promise.
