It is a coming-of-age drama/comedy about teenage boy in Haifa in 1968 who gets a job working for a matchmaker. As he learns about human heart, he falls in love with a girl. I really liked this film and i highly recommend seeing it in the theaters. It is a different kind of coming-of-age story but i really enjoyed watching it. Even though the film can be very sad and devastating it was still delightful and that is a hard thing to achieve so i praise director Avi Nesher for succeeding. I liked that the film was very subtle and I did not think it was melodramatic even though it could have easily been that way. Overall, I think it is a beautiful film that is worth watching on the big screen.
