I thought that I will hate this film but I was pleasantly surprised, it was great and I highly recommend seeing it in the theaters. I think this is one of the best Wall Street movies there is and I am a pretty tough critic. I was very surprised that the film did not have subplots that distract and it was a pretty straight forward disaster film that showed you that even the very powerful people were not able to grasp how big of the disaster the crash is. The film was very entertaining and all the characters were interesting and well developed, overall a very impressive film. -
I did not enjoy this film at all. I have to say that I am not a big fan of movies where dialogue dominates and there is not too much action, therefore I am biased in that way. I thought that the movie was too long and way too much dialogue. I have to admit that some of the dialogue was cool and very well written but way way too much. Another problem with this film is that things are repeated over and over again and not in a smart way either. Kevin Spacey, Jeremy Irons, Stanley Tucci, and Zachary Quinto were excellent and I really enjoyed their performances. I thought that the movie needed to show more human drama and emotion. I do not recommend seeing this film.
