This is a drama directed by John Doyle and stars Colin Firth, Ellen Burstyn and Patricia Clarkson. I did not like this film and I do not recommend seeing it in the theaters. I have no idea why this film got released and how in the world it has such an amazing cast, it makes no sense at all. There is nothing happening in this film and I an not over-exaggerating, there is really nothing happening at all. The film feels very rushed and it feels like it was not finished. I wonder how the director got all these great actors to commit to this film, he must be a very persuasive fellow. -
This is a drama that is directed by the ldirector John Doyle and stars Colin Firth, Ellen Burstyn and Patricia Clarkson. I love the actors in this film, I adore the playwright and screenwriter Horton Foote and all the work that he has done, yet somehow this film does not work and I am sad to say that I did not like it. The film felt rushed and not completely finished, I think that the director tried his best and at times the film is truly beautiful and touching, the director is especially good in portraying the death of the small town in America. I think that there were too many distractions in this film and I wish that it was more focused on the characters and how they deal with the changes that they are facing.
