This is a black comedy directed by Gil Cates Jr. and stars Colin Hanks, Ari Graynor and Jeffrey Tambor. This film failed on all levels and it is very sad to say that because it had so much potential. There is nothing worse than a black comedy that does not work, it is just awkward and uncomfortable to watch it when the humor is not humorous. The film was acted well though, Colin Hanks is a good actor in a bad role but a young actress Ari Graynor impressed me a lot, she was absolutely wonderful and convincing and i hope she gets good roles in the future. Overall, I do not recommend seeing this film in the theaters. -
This is a comedy directed by Gil Cates Jr. and starring Colin Hanks, Ari Graynor and Jeffrey Tambor. It is a dark humor comedy and that is just not my cup of tea. I did not like the story and the characters were weird. It is one of those indie films that desperately want to be be different and extra indie and that is just annoying. Colin hanks is too soft in this role and he is just not believable as a serial killer. i have seen Colin in other films and I know he is just as talented as his father but this film did not show off his talent at all. Overall, i do not recommend seeing this film in the theaters.
