I am not sure about this film and I don’t think it is worth seeing it in the theaters. I just found this film to be way too sad and depressing and i have enough of that in my life already. The film is basically about grief and I do not want to see that in the theater, it is just too sad. I do have to say that the performances in this film are amazing and I was really impressed with the actors. I like that the director did not go overboard with sentimentality and melodrama but it was still a bummer of a film. Overall, if you like movies that make you think and are kind of sad you will probably like this film.
I really liked this film and I recommend seeing it in the theaters. I believed everything I saw in this film, the characters were well developed and their actions had purpose and meaning. I think this film benefited from the amazing cast and mainly the lead actors who blew me away with their performances. The film was moving and it felt personal ad very real, I could not stop thinking about this film for a long time. This film tackles tthemes of class and grief perfectly and I also liked how the director was able to show restraint and did not overdo anything in this film. Overall, I think it is a great film and it is worth seeing in the theaters.
This is a drama about two strangers who discover the fate of their children in the 2005 terrorist attacks on London, the film is directed by Rachid Bouchareb and stars Brenda Blethyn, Sotigui Kouyaté and Francis Magee. I think the film itself was just mediocre but the acting in the film was absolutely superb and it lifted this film up. The actors managed to make this film believable, relateble and moving and I was very impressed. Because of these superb actors the film is definitely worth seeing and telling others about. I could almost feel the grief of the parents and believed their devastation, only very good actors can achieve that and it was truly beautiful to watch. Overall, I recommend seeing this film because of the superb acting done by Brenda Blethyn and Sotigui Kouyaté.
