Legion Movie Reviews

Flashbacks with Kevin Beacon somewhere in the desert in a small building fighting large worms. The worms are replaced with angels.
The story is very vague because of unexplained details as to why something happens and how that should have an impact on the story and the viewer.
Could have been very interesting movie but the poorly written screenplay turned it into another Hollywood flop.
I was very much looking forward to movie. I loved the scenes with the angel and the wings and the neat effects of the angel fights. I would have loved more scenes with angels. Was totally freaked out with the other beings that were in the movie. Honestly did not realize was a horror. So - my friends loved watching me scared in the movie....good thing went with friends. *lol* Happy I saw it....just more Angel scenes would have been neater. Loved Paul...Michael the Angel....*wow*
Whoa, way to ruin an unoriginal idea. This movie has the acting talent but lacks the characters. I blame the writer and/or director for not seeing how week this story is. There have been several movies made, about a small group of people trapped in a mid-west diner with zombies attacking, so it wasn't like they were producing anything original...the director needs to watch a few old b-movies.
Do not waste your time on this film. The only people who knew what they were doing were the promoters who made the trailers...they were the only thing worth seeing.
So if you've seen the commercials, you've seen all you need to about this film.
it is very cool. It has good seating good service and best of all good food and choices of drink. It is a very organized place and it will stay for a longtime, if it keeps it up. I will be there today, Jan 31 2010 to see the movie Legions.
I was looking forward to watching Legion when the first trailer came out months ago. I had really high expectations for it and I really thought that it was going to be one of the really memorable movie moments that I reserve for cool flicks.
What was even better was that my girlfriend was as hyped about it as I was!
We went to a theater that has the latest and best of everything movie...
Then came that wonderful moment when all my expectations were.... crashed, stomped, burned, sliced and spit upon!
On OPENING NIGHT the movie only had FOUR showings. All of the showings were shuffled off to the rear of the theater. NOT good I thought!
Btw, the room was NOT packed (how did they get word of the hamburger that this movie was before I did?)
The opening scene (I missed maybe 3 minutes due to restroom) was okay as an angel dropped from the night sky and lands like a super hero on the moonlit pavement (What city?).
However, it quickly turned to trash thereafter! Why the heck would an angel raid a toy store, gank the guard and then raid this huge armory full of hi-tec weapons? Why for that matter is there only a rent-a-cop on scene?
Anyways, the rest of the movie follows the worst clichés imaginable. The character development and execution was extremely half hearted, its as if the actors themselves knows the movie was going to be drivel.
OMG! I simply cannot write anymore about it because the movie brings up really bad flashbacks of killer tomatoes pulping people to death!
This isn't worth the price of a dollar theater much less a rental.
Oh yah, my girlfriend and I walked out on the movie about 40 minutes into it... We were really pissed!
It's a 2 star movie because of the lack of information. I know what they were trying to accomplish but their sights were too low. They didn't explain enough and all the action in the movie was shown in the trailer. They had spent enough money on these good actors but they didn't spend enough on the leangh and quality of the movie that they should have.
Movie lacked character info to understand the plot. Some good scary parts but the movie was short and had a boring ending. This is one of those movies where they should make a sequal to explain what wasnt explained in the 1st movie, ya know!
Anyhoo, I was really looking forward to see this movie and wish i had waited for it to come out as a rental. Trust me when I say- multiple people have said the same to me and you shouldnt waste your money.
