I really enjoyed watching this film and hope they make more mob films just like this one. Director Jonathan Hensleigh did a very good job with this film and I really did not expect much from him. Ray Stevenson was absolutely wonderful and I enjoyed every second that he was on the screen. Stevenson also looks believable for this part, he looks like he have seen and done stuff and I am so happy that the director did not choose some pretty Hollywood boy for this role. Val Kilmer plays a cop and he is still an excellent and very talented actor and I am happy that he finally got a role that is worthy of him. Overall, I absolutely loved this film and I bet that you will as well.

Kill The Irishman is a little movie that just came out locally but not nationally. If classic and standard mobster movies is your thing, you will absolutely enjoy this film. Kill The Irishman is like the other mobster movies that Martin Scorsese but without that Martin Scorsese flair that those movies are very famous for. This movie was great though. It was violent and very cool and wasn’t about the Italian mob like movies usually are, it is about the Irish mob, which was a very nice and unexpected change of pace. The movie revolves around Irish mobster Danny Greene and his rise from local Irishman to a strong arm for the Irish mob. The movie was very gritty and dark and had a great plot line. The main character survived many assassination attempts to become the powerful man he was.
