Alright, let's just cut to the chase here: seeing the classic "Jurassic Park" on the IMAX screen is worth the ticket price for one reason and one reason alone: the scenes of the dinosaurs. And I don't mean the T Rex or the Raptors, but the towering brontosaurus and brachiosaurus that are sooooo stunning to look at, you will be aping the actors on screen whose jaws drop in amazement. Yes, it's only actual minutes of screen time, but for those who love dinosaurs and the movies - and for those who love the whole idea that Michael Crichton's brilliant novel espoused - there is no substitute for the kind of magic that Spielberg is able to conjure here with the help of updated CGI and 3D. There will be a lot of people lining up to see the film, and rightly so, though I think anyone who doesn't see it on IMAX is wasting their moolah. Even a plain 3D version is just okey dokey. IMAX is the way to go.
