John Carter in Disney Digital 3D Movie Reviews

My mother read me the John Carter stories when I was a little kid, and I read them again when I was a teenager. it's only taken them 50 yrs to make a movie of the books. This movie goes through the first 3 books of the series. Sad because they are very good stories and they leave out a lot. But the movie still very good. They had to clean up the story because of the described nudity in the books but still good.
I saw this film in 3D and I have to say that I had a pretty good time watching it. The film looked amazing visually and I was involved with the characters. The film was interesting and adventerous. I did think that he film was a bit too long and that Taylor Kitsch was a bit too laid back, it almost seemed that he did not care about this film. I think the film was directed very well and it was emotionally engaging and well acted (except for Kitsch’s character which is a shame because it is the lead character). The adventure in the film felt real and it was very fun to watch, I was curious about what will happen next and i love that feeling of mystery. Overall, I had a great time watching this film and I recommend seeing it in the theaters.
Well, I knew that this film is not going to be good and I was absolutely right. It looked amazing and the special effects were great but that is it, the story was boring, the lead actor seemed to be asleep and it was full of stereotypes and cliches, like always Disney made a film for mindless masses who will eat it up and make them that much richer, it makes me sick even thinking about it. I saw the film in 3D and had a huge headache after it because it was way too much to handle, a sensory overload. The characters in the film are not developed, the film is way too long and the whole films is an absolute mess. There is no romance in this film or I just did not believe any of it and the film was very dull overall. I suggest seeing something more meaningful and interesting.
