I did not like this film and I do not recommend seeing it in the theaters. I do have to say that Nivola and Breslin were great and really enjoyed watching them but they could not save this film all by themselves. I found the film to be a bit boring and predictable, I did not find it engaging either. This film is based on a true story and I sure hope that the true story was much more intresting than this film. I thought that the musical set pieces were pretty good and that was the only thing that I have enjoyed about this film. Overall, I do not think that this film is worth your time and your money.

This movie was a little bit boring and i do not recommend seeing it in the theaters. The actors did a good job with their roles but they had a pretty tough material to work with, the film felt uninspired and unoriginal. Abigail Breslin (Little Miss Sunshine) does a great job with her challenging role and I think she has a very bright future in the movie industry, I hope she lands better movies in the future. The film was also extremely predictable and good acting could not erase that. I was also not impressed with the musical pieces, it was forgettable and bland. Overall, I think you will be better off renting this film.

This is a drama about a young girls who has been abandoned by her mother tells a fading rock star that she is his daughter, the film is directed by David M. Rosenthal and stars Abigail Breslin, Alessandro Nivola and Elisabeth Shue. I thought the film was alright but it lacked originality and charm, I would not recommend seeing it in the theaters because it is not worth the price of the ticket. I found the film to be a bit boring and it is sad to say because appearantly it is based on a true story and I bet the true story is not boring. I can say that the film was sweet, however it is not enough. Overall, I was a bit disappointed with this movie.
