My boyfriend and I were looking for a film that would be entertaining and easy to watch and we both decided that this film will do. I am glad to say that we were not disappointed and we both had a good time watching this film, therefore I recommend seeing it in the theaters. We saw the film in 3D and I think it was worth the extra cash, the film looked incredible and the visuals definitely blew me away. I also enjoyed the acting and the story and I found the film to be quite fun to watch. The cast in this film is really great and they definitely made this movie that much better, I loved loved loved Ewan McGregor in this film and I thought that the lead actors who are relatively unknown in Hollywood did a great job as well. Overall, I liked this film and I think that most people will agree with me.

I am a sucker for these types of films, I love fantasy and I love fairytales so i did not hesitate about watching this film in the big screen. I saw the movie in 3D and it was a very positive experience, I was blown away by the world that was created in this film and I think this film is worth seeing in the theaters just for the visual experience alone. I thought that the story was pretty good and the acting was great, I enjoyed watching the lead actors as well as the supporting cast. I know that critics will hate on this film but who cares, all it matters that people enjoy watching it and I think that this film will please a wide audience. Overall, I recommend seeing this film on the big screen, I can guarantee you that you will be entertained.

Okay, I feel like I have been hearing about this movie for eons! So it's great to see it finally on the big screen and that too in crystal clear eye popping 3D as I have never seen before! The whole world of Jack and his beanstalk is reimagined as only the best Hollywood movies can do. The 3D in this movie really comes to life when Jack is going at it against the giants, and also in the many amazing sequences showing the ancient war between the giants that Jack reignites. I also have to give a special shout out to Ewan McGregor for his hilariously endearing performance which made me laugh out loud on many an occasion. I would also say that Nicholas Hoult is ten times the actor and a million times the cutie that Robert Pattinson is. I just can't get over how much better this movie is than the last Twilight which was an embarrassment. Did you hear it won all the Razzies? DUH!

This movie is actually pretty bad arse, even though it's based on the old time children's fairy tale that we all remember from when we were kids. Just like that old movie (well, it came out a couple of weeks ago) that reinvented Hansel & Gretel as slayers of evil, this one takes the beloved character Jack the poor farmhand and makes him a warrior out to destroy the evildoers in the world. The CGI in this movie is the real star, however; I thought the way they animated the giants was amazing, and no one will be forgetting them any time soon. The fight sequences are also pretty cool, especially when Ewan McGregor and the king's legions of guards take on the bad guys. The one thing I would have liked less of is the whole romance between the Princess and Jack. It was so expected and not at all what I would have wanted from the storyline. It gets kind of silly after a point.
