Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit Movie Reviews
User reviews on Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit
Based upon what the first reviewer posted I will avoid this movie. He/she hit the nail on the head regarding the kind of tripe we are seeing these days.
This film is pure BS. Tom Clancy, the American patriot writer that gave us Jack Ryan is spinning in his grave. The terrorist is a Christian from Dearborn MI. Yeah, the news is full of Christian terrorists, so that must be correct. Who brought down the Twin Towers? Who bombed the Boston Marathon? Who killed 13 people while shouting Ala Akbar? Not Christians. How much influence has been purchased by Islamist radicals to have Hollywood think that Americans are going to pay money to see this? Anyone who sees anything close to believable in this film was 1.under 6 yrs. old on 9/11/2001 2. educated in public schools by teachers who learned perverted history from Progressive professors in overpriced institutions of "higher learning". The price is higher, but the learning is suspect. Save your money. The only really truthful part is the hometown of the terrorist...Dearborn MI the Muslim capital of the USA. Not all Muslims are terrorists, but for the last several decades all the terrorists have been radical Muslims. Not the agenda Hollywood wants to promote.
I was quite excited to see this film because I love this exact genre and I have not seen a good action-conspiracy drama in a very long time. I am glad to say that the film was quite good and I had a great time watching it on the big screen. The film was structured very well, it was fast and smart and the casted perfectly. Chris Pine does a really good job with his role and I was surprised with Keira Knightley, I usually don’t enjoy her acting, but she was delightful in this movie. I found the action sequences to be very exciting, stylish and thrilling all in the same time. Overall, I recommend seeing this film on the big screen, you will have a good time if you like action/adventure films.
My boyfriend really wanted to see this film and I went along with him not expecting to have a good time. Well, I ended up loving this movie and I am surprised to say that, because I usually don’t enjoy action films. I found the film to be interesting and very well written as well as structured. The action scenes were amazing, especially the ones in Moscow, I was on the edge of my seat for that one. The film is overall quite thrilling and exciting and I loved Chris Pine’s performance, he was perfect for this role and Keira Knightley was brilliant as well. I liked that the film was stylish and I loved the ending, which I can rarely say these days.
