It Is No Dream: The Life of Theodor Herzl Movie Reviews
User reviews on It Is No Dream: The Life of Theodor Herzl
This is a doc**entary about Theodor Herzl, well known journalist and playwright, an assimilated Budapest born Jew, horrified by the Dreyfus trial in Paris and the anti-Semitism he saw spreading across Europe, took upon himself the task of attempting to create a Jewish homeland in Palestine against all odds. I thought this doc**entary was well made, it was interesting and had a lot of detail. I definitely learned some stuff from this film and I think we all need to remember the events that preceded the creation of the state of Israel. I thought this film was very straightforward and clear and even though it was not the most entertaining doc**entary I still enjoyed watching it. Overall, I think it is worth seeing in the theaters and it is worth your time and money.
I really liked this doc**entary and highly recommend seeing it in the theaters. The film is very well made and it was extremely interesting and informative and I hope people will see it. The film is very straightforward and it provides a lot of interesting facts and interviews. Anyone who is interested in Jewish history should see this film. I did think that the film was a bit dry and it could have been a bit more engaging but overall I thought it was great.
