The greatest acting display in history...miss Streep should never have been given a statue for best actress they should take it back and annoint her, give her rather a gold crown for she truly becomes an Iron Lady deserving of more than any praise ever imagined...If you do not see this epic performance you will never enjoy the wonders of cinema excellence more. She proved she is the best...

I am not sure why this film is called a biography because most of it takes place in modern times where Thatcher wonders through her apartment and talks with her dead husband. The film is very mediocre and kind of weird but of course Meryl Streep is absolutely amazing in it but I wish the film was better and the story was deeper. Streep makes Thatcher come alive in the film but all other characters are not developed at all and that kind of destroys this film. In the end Streep’s performance is the only reason to see this film and that is kind of sad.

Meryl Streep was her usual amazing self. The makeup was superb. I thought the film dwelled a bit too much on Margaret Thatcher's decline in health and a bit too little on her breaking of British male political barriers. The film had a lot of light hearted humor between Thatcher and her husband, and did a nice job of showing their very loving relationship. I could have done without the hallucination sequences. Overall excellent.

This film proves again that Maryl Streep is the greatest actress of our time and I really hope she will get an Oscar for this astonishing portrayal of Margaret Thatcher. She seems to be able to become anybody and in this film Streep definitely becomes Thatcher, it was almost like watching magic happen. I liked the film as well and I think it is worth seeing in the theaters not only for Streep’s performance but also for the way Thatcher was showed in this film. The film was a bit sad but it moved me and made me think and I really like that. It is a portrait of a woman who fought her way to the top and lived in a world of power and now Thatcher is no longer in that world, she is lost. Overall, i think this film is worth seeing and telling others about.

Maryl Streep is a force of nature and every time i see her on the big screen i get goosbumps and i am amazed at her talent. i think this film was too small for her and she overwhelmed the other actors and the film itself. Every move that she made as Margaret Thatcher was a work of art and I have no doubt that she is getting nominated for this role. I feel like the director did not know what to do with her talent and let Streep run the film which she did and it was great but the film did not matter anymore, all I could see was her and her talent. Overall, I think this film is worth seeing in the theaters just for Streep’s performance.

This is a film about Margaret Thatcher and the price she had to pay in order to have the power that she did, the film is directed by Phyllida Lloyd and stars Meryl Streep, Jim Broadbent and Richard E. Grant. I loved this film and I recommend seeing it in the theaters especially if you are a woman, I believe this film is very important for females to see. Thatcher was one of the most powerful woman in politics and the part is played by Maryl Streep who is with no doubt the greatest actress of our time and this combination is powerful and mesmerizing. There is no doubt in my mind that Streep will get an Oscar nomination for this role and i really think she should win because it was astonishing the way she portrayed Thatcher, i could not take my eyes off of her. The film itself was very interesting and i liked that it was de-politicized.
