I did not really know what this movie is about, but i still liked it. The director, C Nolan, does a great job of creating suspense, and the acting is superb
Sorry to say, but this is a formulaic movie, with poor, over-the-top acting, a VERY poor sound track (impossible to hear some dialogue by actors during very critical moments), and so long that at 45 minutes into an almost 3 hour movie, I was absolutely crying out for it to end. You can make up any kind of numbers you want with this movie, but when McConaughey's character see's his (spoiler alert!) ........................................very young daughter as a much older person, it is so anticlimactic that you realize not only was his life a farce, but so was this overlong movie.
awesome movie to watch! It is about 150 mins, but I feel like it was 30 mins. If you are looking for a good movie, then go for it! I promise you will not be disappointed.
A very interesting movie. Very different. It was definitely large scale. I commend the director for trying to harness this topic into a single movie. It seems like you'd need a season-long series to tackle this giant topic. However, it worked out well. As you know, the earth is dying and Mathew McConaughy has to help find another world. They find a wormhole near Saturn to enter a new galaxy. The movie was filled with tons of emotion, the chief being McConaughy's longing to see his daughter again some day. Super interesting part when they were going to land on a new planet, but were warned not to stay long. Why? The gravity was infinitely stronger than earth. For every hour they stayed on the planet, it would be the equivalent of 7 years passing on earth. The entire concept is huge and it is pulled off fairly well. Just a very different, interesting movie.
