This film was not worth seeing at all, i guess my hopes were a little bit too high and i was very disappointed. I will start from the positives and end with negatives. I really loved the cinematography of this film, it was truly beautiful and I really liked the blues and grays of the picture, it looked great. I liked that Los Angeles locales were chosen, it was fitting for this film. One can tell that a lot of thought was put in this film but not all of the ideas worked out. Now the bad, the film was clumsy and preachy and I could not stop glancing at my watch, it was boring. The film was also very obvious and I did not like the “hidden” message.

I was really disappointed with this film and I do not recommend seeing it in the theaters because it will be a waste of your time and your money. The film is trying so hard to be stylish and deep that it is almost uncomfortable to watch, all the pauses between the dialogue are ridiculous and completely unnecessary. The film is very obvious and not subtle at all and it is also preachy which i absolutely despise. The only good thing is that the film is very fast paced, therefore you are never bored. I thought that Timberlake did a pretty decent job with his role but he had absolutely no chemistry with Seyfried, it was not fun to watch them on screen together. Overall, I did not have a good time watching this film.

The movie overall was ok. Some good action scenes. I did not like the overt anti-capitalisms, overthrow the system message. Coincidence, or perfect timing with all this non-sense protesting. This movie ends happy, hope and change feel to it, but in real life people will starve…

I really thought that this film will be awesome and I really like the idea, unfortunately the execution of the film failed miserably and the movie ended up beeing almost unwatchable. First of all, the film was way overplotted, there was so much going on that i got lost and did not care, second, the acting was pretty bad, there was absolutely no tension or chemistry between Timberlake and Seyfried, third, the dialogue was simply awful. I also thought that the film was dumbed down and because of that and many other things the film failed to engage me.

This is a sci-fi about Will Salas who is accused of murder and hasto run with a hostage, the film is directed by Andrew Niccol and stars Justin Timberlake, Amanda Seyfried and Cillian Murphy. I was really looking forward this film and I thought that it will be great because the idea of the movie is brilliant, however I was disappointed, the film was not good at all. It is a very fast paced film and the action never stops but the problem is that you simply do not care what is happening. The film has way too much plot, it is acted badly and the dialogue is very bad and boring. Overall, I do not recommend seeing this film in the theaters.

In Time is an incredibly timely, and interesting, premise, hung from a standard action film. That may sound like faint praise, but it's not. The film has something to say about the gap between the haves and have nots. I'm sure writer/director Andrew Niccol had no idea how timely his movie would be, but in the days of the Occupy movement, there's a resonance to its themes.
In the future (which looks a lot like the present), your internal clock is set to stop at 25. You can buy, sell and give away more time to live. A rich man gives Will Salas (Timberlake) 100 years more to live, then commits suicide. Unfortunately for Mark, he tries to stop the man and is caught on a security camera, which makes it look like he murdered the guy. Will goes on the run with the daughter of one of the richest men in the world, which leads to some fun if imperfect action sequences.
Overall, it's not a great movie. Niccol seems to not have a great idea about pacing an action film, and some of the dialogue and sequences can induce groans. But overall, it's not a bad way to spend a night at the movies. And if you're like me, you might find something deeper in the film, which could give it a little more impact.
