This is a film based on a true story about a teenager who sets to find his birth mother, the film is directed by Claude Miller and Nathan Miller and stars Vincent Rottiers, Sophie Cattani and Christine Citti. The film is very powerful and sometimes hard to watch, it is basically about love that goes wrong and about the consequences of bad parenting. The film goes back and forth in time but it is not confusing, it is done very well. The film explores how we as humans need to connect and belong, i found this film fascinating and mesmarazing. Vincent Rottiers and Maxime Renard paly Thomas very well and they do not make him too needy or pathetic. Sophie Cattani plays the mother superbly, she is so chilly and disconnected, I really hated her character and that is good acting.
