This movie was great. How to Survive a Plauge is a doc**entary about two groups who fight to turn AIDS from a death sentence into a manageable disease. Without any formal training, these two activist groups infiltrate the shady pharma industry and identify promising drugs and get them pushed along the slow moving approval process. This in my opinion was one of the best doc**entaries I’ve seen in a long time and an important piece of art that shows how important these types of activist groups really are. The movie has access to a bunch of unseen footage from the 80s and 90s that show the lengths of how stupid pharma companies can be. An important movie for anyone to see.
