I’m so glad Jennifer Lawrence decided to do a horror film. House at the End of the Street is about a mom and daughter, fresh off of a divorce, that move into their dream house. After meeting the neighbor, Jennifer kind of falls for him. Except, he has a secret past which she starts to discover. His entire family was murdered and it seems that his sister may have done it. I won’t give anymore away except to say this movie was great. Jennifer’s acting was top notch, as it always is. The film was a little different than I first expected going into it but it ended up being great, story-wise. This is a movie any horror genre fan will enjoy.

I’m a huge horror movie fan. So when I heard Jennifer Lawrence would be starring in a horror flick, you know I was excited. After a divorce and looking to start over, Jennifer’s characters mom and her find their dream house in an upscale and somewhat rural town (of course). This movie was great. It was dark and definitely scary and Jennifer Lawrence did a great job in it. The only other movie I’ve seen her in was The Hunger Games so being able to see her range was impressive. The story wasn’t anything new but it didn’t really have to be. It did a great job of mastering the basics of a horror film and the entire thing came together quite nicely.
