Another great movie from Edgar Wright and Simon Pegg. Here we get sergeant Nicholas Angel, who has been transferred to the idyllic town of Sandford, where everything is not as it seems.
I laughed the whole movie through and had to watch it a second time to get all of the jokes. This movie might seem a little like a parody due to the massive amount of references to action movies (especially cop movies), but it is able to hold its own in this genre as well.
Though comedy is in the forefront, there is a lot of action in this movie as well as the shortest movie car chase.
And I just loved “the greater good,” reminded me of those psychotic homeowners’ associations that can’t stand anything being slightly off. The plot of this movie is so random that it works perfectly.
This movie is for just about anyone … anyone cool that is.
